Hello fellow mylotters.. you know yesterday i was in a train going home from a very long day at work. in the coach, i am the only woman that i see, probably others are seated, etc. but as i was standing, i notice these guys saw me enter the train and then they pretended to be asleep as i go near the middle of the coach so i can hold steadily on the handles.
I just thought.. wow! i mean, i will not ask anyone to give up their seats for me.. but i just find it odd that they even have to pretend that they were asleep so they do not have to stand up and let me seat! he he its just weird.
anyway... on the topic - would you agree that chivalry is dead? I think we have been modernized! Guys no longer offer their seats to the ladies, the ladies do not expect anymore (as we demand equal rights... hehe), guys at the streets sometimes would not even talk to the women with courtesy, even to the old ladies...
But you know what? i just can't take it one time that there was a pregnant woman standing between me and a couple of other guys in the train one time and no one bothered to offer her a seat! I (a woman) stood up and offered my seat instead. I am seeing her suffer i knew she is not feeling very well. Oh the shame all these men must have felt that time... or maybe they have got no shame anymore?
Is is just me that still hopes and wishes there are still a few gentleman left?
