Sure if it is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Who are we then without Him? I would definitely sacrifice myself to save Jesus Christ, if I am in to save Him if God told me to. I will do just like what He did to me. We are lucky that we don't have to sacrifice our own sons and burn them as an offering like those "before Christ acts" did before in the old testament. We are lucky that we are more free and civilized now than before. It is all because of Jesus Christ who came to the earth to save us.

My friend we are not more free i tell you. the temptation in the world i believe is far worst than what it was back then, Nowadays everywhere you turn you see sin! About the sacrifice nowadays people sacrifice their souls directly to the devil in exchange for finacial freedom,fame and happiness,dont you see that these days are far worst then early time...But there is the grace if God to guide us through temptations and i am so happy for it and i appreciate God the father for it. Surely, if it is meant. But as a christ followers, that is what you really have to practice in life, like sacrifices and persicution, and even to take up the cross daily (Luke 9:23) The literal meaning of taking up the cross daily is to follow his commandments (Gal 6:2)

O i love this your response my friend! TAking up our cross daily is the desire of all christain,i know our heart yearn for him but because of the world and things of the world we are continously lead astray. this is the reason why we need the grace of God in our lives to become overcomers of the flesh.this is one way we can honour the sacrifise christ made for us thereby making everyday in our lives count, Thanks for your response friend and happymylotting

Jesus laid down his life for me, as I am a wretched sinner, and really when you think about it, none of deserves to be saved, but because he did die for us, he has made it easy for us to be saved, if wee will just take up our cross and follow him. I would be willing to die for him if the need would arise, and who knows but that it could happen at the end times as persecution will be very bad, and we need to stand up for what we believe and stand fast. By doing so, we are showing our love to him who first loved us. Take care,and have a very good day.

It is always great for someone to die for our sins and get punished for our sins. Yet we still doing sins not realizing that God gave his own Son to save us.
