Well, old people against young people, hmmmm.....
Last night they had an immunity challenge that the old people should have had a fair shot at. And they had a medallion that gives them extra power, should they choose to use it. They chose not to use it, because it looked like a challenge that they would be at least equal at.
They lost, and the younger folks were mocking them for not using it. (If they use it, they have to give it to the younger folks' tribe for the next challenge.)
Nope, I would have done the same thing. I'd rather save it until a challenge where I think my team is at a disadvantage. This way, the other team doesn't get their claws on the medallion yet either.
Did anybody watch?

I did watch, on and off. And I did see the challenge, but not so much the instruction about giving up the medallion.
I agree that Espada could have won that challenge too. I think the young folks just got lucky, and it was just the breaks of the game.
The truth is, the only reason I watched the show, was that I was interested how Jimmy Johnson fared in the game. I was so sure he had a big target on his back. But lucky him, he survived the first elimination. Made me interested to watch the show again next week!

Yeah, somehow I don't see him lasting until the last episode though. But you never know!

Well, I think as you said they did it the right way..and were pretty smart about it. Lose the little challenges and same it for the bigger..I haven't and don't watch the show..but it seems the older ones are using their smarts..and maybe that will help to best the younger ones in the end.

I hope it pays off. It didn't this time, but maybe next time it will. I'd hate to see them use it and then it doesn't pay off!!!

I agreed that they should have kept it... save it for a "harder" challenge. I thought they did a really bad choice by putting a female (no offense to anyone!) on the bucket brigade at the top... hoisting those full buckets of water needed a bit more muscle than the female chosen was able to handle. And I couldn't understand why speed of pouring was so violent... pour it slowly and it will all go in the drain spouts and more into the bucket at the bottom. But oh well! Someone has to loose!
They also had a hidden immunity idol.. thought they weren't going that way this time. Oh well, again. Not to interested in that anyway.
Seems like it might have a chance this year!

That's what I thought too. I'd rather take the time and do it once, right. Than to do it twice and hope I make it!

She was slopping that water everywhere, and you would think after the first bucket she would have figured that out.

Sad to say I've been a devoted fan to Survivor since the first season and I remember sitting in the community room in college and watching it with my dorm mates, but I missed it this week because they changed the night on me. I am going to see if I can find it online to watch. However, even though I didn't get to see the episode, I think they probably did the right thing by not using a medallion on a challenge that they thought they had a fair shot at.

yeah just because they lost the challenge, doesn't automatically mean they made the wrong decision...
