Does your bank give you rewards / points?

I just received a call from my bank, where i had my account. They told me to pick up my rewards card and that is supposedly loaded with points i earned from my account, usage, withdrawals and deposits. I thought wow this looks great. I searched in their website and it was a good card, like a membership card that gives you points that can be used to convert to gift certicates.
These days in the philippines, banks does offer wide range of reward system for their clients! Its great really that well, if you have a good account from them they give you points and use these points in future purchases... :D

I just got a reward card in August and I already earned $10.48 for spending my money the way that I always spend it. They deposit my rewards into my checking account each month. There'a a sliding scale where you can earn 1%-3% back and there are usually a couple of merchants that offer 5%. It costs $25 per year but I pay for it in one month of spending
