Well school has started and my son was off to a rocky start. Like a junkie trying to detox. He found it a bit difficult coming out of the two whole months of PSP, XBox and cable tv, but slowly but surely he is managing to do it. lol It was something to see him adjust to the fact that the only thing that he will be doing are chores and studying. He was so agitated could not keep still for five minutes. Couldn't even sleep the night before the first day of school! So I just told him to take it one day at a time, and now he is off to bed early at nights and completing some of his homework assignments. Hopefully by Christmas he will be completing all of his assignments and then some! So how was it with your kids?

My daughter was excited, my sn not so much. He is 13 and boy is that attitude coming out. I always hate school starting with him, it is a fight to get homework done. I cant wait till he gets past the changing hormones stage and lightens up a little.

My son has been going through withdrawals as well. He has been addicted to his PS3 all summer long. He stayed up for hours on end. He was terrible the first week of school, however, it is doing fine for now. My daughter didn't have a problem adjusting to school as she usually isn't a night owl anyways.
