cell phone disadvantages

Today cell phone has become integral part of almost every ones life without which it would be hard to stay in contact.But most students in classes use to send messages,chat in class hours,play games,listen music.It has also got internet as a result students are distracted easily getting poorer grades and forcing parents to shell out more money on extra classes and coaching.Instead of that parents should not buy them phones upto certain age level.

I agree.I think cell phones are a big distraction to everyone these days not just to kids. People are texting while driving and wrecking or killing people. Kids are sexting and getting into trouble that way. When my kid gets a phone she will probably be in middle school so like 12 or 13 and hopefully by then they still have a phone that's very basic. Like just making calls. I know Disney or someone had a phone like that for kids that you could only call your parents or 911 with it.
