my son start walking when he is about 12 months old. When he was 10 months old, he would always take your hand with one of his hand and walk here and there to practice. I think you do not need to worry about that, he would be able to walk by himself in a month.

Every child has different capabilities. My child, can stand perfectly and walk, after the age of 15 months. Many other children are less than 15 months has been able to walk. So we can not confirm, what age a child can stand and walk perfectly.

hi swordfish2010. at 10 months, its normal for your son to just be able to stand up for a while. at around 11 months he will start to try and walk but will end up running trying to keep his balance. that stage is where you should really try to keep an eye on your son to be sure that he doesn't bump into something or get into an accident. normally, kids start to walk on their own after a year. i know this coz we took this up in pediatric nursing when i was still and undergrad in nursing school.

Hi, my son had started walking when he was 11 months old. But I've come across many babies who are unable to walk even after completion of 1 year. So, do not worry, he will walk soon. All the best !!

Every kid is different. My son started around 9 months. My nephew started over a year. You really cant pinpoint a time cause everyone is different. You could try getting a walking toy, it will help strengthen his legs and help get them going. you could also try holding his hands from behind and let him lead you.
