The city I am living at is a pretty large city, and the downtown core is very crowded and busy. The office of the company I am working for is located right there in the downtown. It is in a very nice impressive looking region, with many beautiful highrise buildings around. But, I don't like living there in the region, too noisy for me. I prefer living in a quiet and peaceful suburban area, like the one I am living in now. How about you ? Do you prefer living in the downtown core or in a suburban region.

Although I live 8 miles away from D.C., I rarely go there! I have always lived in the Burbs. It is quiet enough but it isn't Too remote.I love it. I can get to D.C. easily.

Drive?
Forgive me. D.C. is no place to drive into! The streets have pot holes the size of bird baths and there is no parking! The Only sane way to go is by Metro. I'm sorry I laughed that was rude. Here is a map of the Metro.

Hello Sarah. How are you ? The train is the convenient way to go to downtown D.C. , right ? Or, do you usually drive to get there ?

Hi greenline~ I live on the outside of a larger city too. And
if I take the bus up about 25 minutes, 15 by car to the next
big city up there is plenty to do. In fact Donald Trump put
up some huge building sna a hotel and restaurant in the City of
White Plains. I live in the suburburn are but right down the
street from the busstop that connects you to a very wide range
of transportation around Westchester County which covers a very
large are. So like you, I can enjoy a little of both!

Hello Opal. How are you ? White Plains ! That is a very nice city. I have not been there yet, but have heard alot about it. A suburb of White Plains must be very pleasant.

Yes, that's right. I was living in the downtown core before to be close to my work place. But, after a while, I just could not tolerate the noisy environment. That's why I moved away to a more peaceful environment.
