Owen Hargreaves is a talented player, who has played many years for Bayern Munchen. I liked his style very much, but he is the type of player who gets injured frequently. This is why he never managed to be a constant player, but no doubt about the fact that he was very good in his time at Bayern. I remember that he played magnificently in the final in 2001 against Valencia although he was very young, 19 years old, if I remember correctly. I feel sorry for him, because he hasn't had a career as he deserved, although he has won the Champions League trophy two times, many German leagues and cups, and I think English leagues and cups as well. But personally he had many medical problems, which kept him away from being a well known and appreciated player.

I heard that Owen might feature for Man U this season. Then I heard that SAF had removed him from the UCL list as he feels that he might not be able to play a part after all. I think Owen is a good player, but is so injury prone that this career has nearly come to a halt. I think it is a matter of another or year before he declares his retirement from the game due to injury!!
Cheers!
Ram
