I love Coca-Cola and other Cola drinks, but I can't drink them as I they give me stomach problems. I am also allergic to Tartrazine, which is a yellow food colouring. This makes me feel very, very ill. I have to be careful to check the ingredients before I eat or drink anything that is yellow or green, in case it contains this ingredient. Do you have any food allergies?

I have some severe allergies so I have to watch what I eat very carefully. I am severely allergic to shellfish. I have an Epipen for this. My body cannot filter certain food dyes; yellow 5,red 40 and blue 1. I found this out when I was a child because my mom bought us fruit loops and after a while of eating them, my kidneys failed. When the doctor did tests to find out why he discovered that it was due to the allergy I have with food dyes. I also get migraine headaches so I have to limit caramel coloring and monosodium glutamate because they both make me feel very ill. It takes awhile for my hubby and I to do our food shopping because if we want to buy something new to try it we have to read all the ingredients first.

Yellow 5 is the American name for e102 (tartrazine) that I am allergic too. I have been caught out a couple of times when companies have changed their recipes and produdcts that were "safe" for me suddenly contained Tartrazine. Shopping is often times consuming, but it is better to take the extra time, than get sick!

I have lots of allergies. I'm allergic to seafood (except fish, which is odd) , pain relievers and pretty much any medicine with ibuprofen on it, perfumes, dust and other medications that I forgot. When I get allergies from the food I'd usually get rashes all over and feel itchy like hell until I get some anti histamine. On the medications, it targets my eyes. It'll swell and become puffy until I get an anti allergy shot since normal anti histamines dont work on it, and the doctors always need the strong one since the allergy crawls up real fast on my system.

Not at this time because I have eliminated all the negative foods. I now eat healthy and nutritious food and feel so much better. Try to eat food as natural as you can get it. Stay healthy!
