I have a new job!

So, I was having a think about my online earnings the other day, and I soon realised that the amount I was making was nowhere near enough for me. I was also realising that while these websites are good, they have the ability to literally disappear overnight without having to pay their members what they owe to them. So, to cut a long story short, I spoke to my Uncle and he put me in contact with someone who owns a company on the internet with content writing. Already, I have undertaken many jobs, and I am being paid £15 per article at the moment, which take me about 30 minutes each to write, if they're on something I am knowledgable about, and an hour if I have to do a little reseach around the subject first. I am very happy with myself, as I am able to earn around £60 per day on a good day now, along with everything that I am able to earn online as well!

Gemma, good for you. It is always a very great happening thing for someone to luck up with or be blessed with someone who can lead you or send you to a job that will pay well. I guess by reading your discussion that it pays well Everyone who has responded seems to think it is going to be very helpful for you and your family. Is it. The reason I don't know whether or not it is real good, is because I don't know what that thing before the 60 amount means. I know it isn't 60 dollars. I guess it is pounds or something. I understand fromm some other responses on here that you aren't responding. If you decide someday to come back here and respond, please let me know what that symbol means so I will be delighted for the amount you are making in employment online also. Thanks. Hope you are continuing to do well.

Hi chrystaltears, The sign before the 60 is the currency sign for the British pound.

Congratulations on your new job. I would absolutely love to have the opportunity to do something like that. In fact, that is the reason that I've decided to start writing online, I don't think that I am going to get rich off of the writing that I do online, but I do think of it as a way of getting back into practice of writing after a hiatus of many years and I also think that it could get my foot in the door at some point.

johney, you have to reach 100 posts to get your star. So, keep posting! Also, welcome to myLot. You wouldn't want to use myLot as your real job because it doesn't pay much. It's good for a few extra dollars a month or, if you're VERY active, you could potentially earn $50.00 or so a month (I don't know anyone who actually spends that much time here) so you see it's not enough to be considered a "real" job but, if you get a lot of referrals and/or do a lot of myLot "tasks", you could earn a very nice amount of money.

What's the number in brackets by the names? Is it number of posts / friends / discussions started? And actually, while I'm on it, what's the number in the star? Thanks

Since he has said payment is Pounds, I think it is under Words of Worth. It's a legit site and pays very well!

The very best thing about earning online is, you don't have a 'physical' boss who will eventual bully you. Earning in the internet is a great thing because you can make money at the comfort of your home. The saying "there's no place like home" is true, The good thing about your new job is, you are earning doing the things you love which is writing. Wish you luck to your new career.

That's one good news!! haha =D At least u know that your current job is legitimate and it will pay u. It's better than trying to earn online with some sites, whereby we dunno if they will last or even pay!! haha =D 15 per article is good money, and u can actually be employing others to write for u, by setting as task in mylot.. hehe ^_^ U can pay them a small sum, and at the same time, u are able to undertake more articles from the company too.. haha

Good on you! I know that there are a lot of stuff online that says you can earn money, and I agree that you can earn, but most of it are really not worth enough of your time. Goodthing that you found yourself one that could really earn more. And that you know the people behind it so that there is always a face to talk to if there are problems with payment. Goodluck on your job!

Congratulations. You give second preferences for online earning. Whatever i do on net, i consider as a hobby. Online earning will be always a nightmare, you can not earn much or otherwise you have to do a lot of hard work in earning from online.

Hi, I'm interested too. From the way you discussed it, I knew yours is a legal site. Please tell me about this site and if you don't mind, please refer my name. I also love to write.

yes it can be very depressing that you put a lot of content into these efforts for little pay, especially when most of us enjoy the opportunity to give our views to benefit others/ companies.. thankfully i havent had any companies disappear on me - more that they alter their systems so i cant access further surveys, and hence they dont have reason to pay me! that's my current bug bear! also a lot of us for whatever reason enjoy writing and it's very satisfying. if you have the added bonus of making new friends then that's even better! i wish you luck hun! and if you wish to recommend anyone then you feel free ! :)

Thats great. I have been looking for ways to make extra money as well. I will be launching an online business later on this month and am hoping that all goes well. I have several crafts that I want to sell online. I already have a few done and am hoping to get a lot done this week. With me being in graduate school it can sometimes be hard to get things done, but I know if I push myself hard enough I can do it. I wish you the best of luck.

I don't believe you're getting 15 pounds per article. Maybe 1.5 pounds is closer to reality.

Congratulations! I'm still at the phase of working online jobs (and finding ways to make money online) but realistically, I won't be able to support my family if I stick to these jobs. I'm thinking of looking for a regular job soon, though I still have not collected enough motivation to do so (I'm really lazy -_-). Anyway, congratulations and good luck on your new job! I hope I'll be able to find a similar job here, that's kind of the thing I'm good at and also something I'd like to do.
