What it needs to be done to be on top discussions?

I also ponder about this thing, dear.:) But I noticed that even a post with only a number (1) as respondent got included on the top discussion. :) So, I checked the time, and according to Mylot time it is a new day already so that discussion with only one respondent is the the newest with a response. If you check the number of discussions included on the top, there are just so many of them. I noticed, too, that there were discussions posted a day earlier which is still included for the present's top. I don't know really the criteria of Mylot about this thing. But, I'm glad and couldn't help feeling flattered when my post is included in the list.:)

Hi Airasheila!. Why do you say you are not been making top discussion. The 3 your discussion I first answer is I reads from Mylot digest, thats send every day to our email. In the mylot digest is daily top discussion base in our interest so each of us will receive a different Mylot digest. I think to be in the digest you must making a discussion thats making the most response on thats interest. Like if you making discussion in Computers so if made up to digest its mean your discussion the most got response there for that day.

i've often wondered what it takes to get in the top discussion list,i have found some of my discussions in there in the past,but i've never been sure as to why they are there,i've checked my replies and there isn't always that many,so it can't be the ammount of responses you have,,it's a mystery

There are many things which you should put in your mind if you want to see your discussions in top discussions. I think if you started any discussions on different and positive topic s then your discussion can comes in top discussions. And always try to started discussions in current scenario because it is the way to make your discussions in top list.

I believe you are right as to what makes a discussion be considered top for the day. Basically the highest numbers of responses is what myLot considers the discussion to be one of the top. The only thing I can recommend is a quality posted discussion that grabs attention and creating quality friendships as well. As when your friends are comfortable with your type of discussion thee are more apt to continue to respond. God luck friend and hope you achieve the top.
