Which one is better, Orkut of Facebook?

For orkut, when it was new, all the guys and girls used to do orkutting all day and night. It was first of its kind, very user friendly and very simple. But today not many people use orkut although they might have an account with orkut. I mean, the frequency of an individual, loging in to orkut has substancially reduced.
Now on the other hand, people are crazy about Facebook, almost all the orkut users have an account with facebook. Loging frequency in facebook is very high now a days. It has been more successful as compared to orkut, but will it be able to maintain its position. Or with time when other social site comes into picture, will facebook's usage reduced to a great extent.

I am just hearing of the Orkut last week. Well, I guess facebook got their ideas from the likes of myspace and then improve on the applications sets on it.
I would not be suprised hearing another site overtaking the over 500million subscribers of facebook one of these days.
Mylot might get the mark just watch.

I'm not sure about Orkut because i don't have an account with them. My vote goes to facebook for this because it's fun with lots of interesting games in it. I'm once addicted to facebook when it's new. Now, i've quit facebook totally, deleting my account as i have no time for it anymore. I find it very stupid of me, to be waking up in the middle of night for my crops, sacrificing my sleep for some senseless things.
Apart from that, faebook is actually a nice site, and its popularity won't be affected if other social sites were to come along.

I've never used Orkut before but to me, Facebook is also good as it's easy to use and the interface, especially the login page is comforting to the eyes and the font is nice too!

with new upcoming social sites i think facebook usage will get reduced....
when orkut comes into picture everyone started using orkut..
but now as it becomes old everyone losing there interest from it... as facebook comes into picture...
so its a trend to use new sites...
so as soon as other social sites with new features comes facebook will......

I've never heard of Orkut but I love Facebook. I mostly enjoy Facebook because of their various application games.

the features that orkut provide are way less compared to facebook . facebook is like a big spider web full of so many features and applications . yes but when some other site comes up with services better than fb then thers a slight change that people might drift away from fb too . and then there is one more disadvantage - the government , why are they after facebook , its now banned in china , pakistan and even thailand in a couple of weeks . prolly then the people would try another options

Facebook offers more services than Orkut. Its even user friendly even a two year old can manage around it.
I think Facebook will rule for 3-6 years more before something else topples it.
