I used Norton for years and ended up quitting it. My last episode was a couple of years ago and I had just bought a new Norton Internet Security anti-virus. I was using it for a couple of months and noticed something was just wrong with my computer and it was acting funny. Of course, I scanned over and over again trying to find something and it would always come up with nothing.
Then, I started seaching around and found this reputable website which was recommending Malwarebytes and everyone was talking about it. They have a free download, or you can pay for it if you choose. If you use the free download, you will have to scan your computer yourself but it doesn't take long. The one you pay for will scan all day for you of course. Malwarebytes can also be used alongside your anti-virus without hurting your computer.
I've never went back to Norton. As soon as I downloaded it and started scanning, it found what I was looking for that Norton didn't find. It was the VundoH trojan and this was found in seconds, which is spyware.
Their website is and this is NOT A REFERRAL LINK...www.malwarebytes.com
Good luck!

Some antivirus have anti spyware also included in it.I am not sure if norton has anti spyware with it. You have to check it. If it has that will be sufficient. If it is not with antivirus software, it is better to install an antispyware also.
