What are the important thing you should remember in camping?

Anyone here love to camp? What are the things that you should be remember in camping? I do really love to camp but I never have a chance to experience it ever since. In case that I could have a chance to camp. To you there who love camping. What should I remember the most? It really helps me a lot. Thank you.

If you are camping in the woods and there are deer and bear and so on,Don't keep your food in your tent lol.Many people think its a joke and it's just a cartoon story but it's completely true!

When I go camping I take a light to carry mattress. It is long and thin. I take my sleeping bag. I always take some kind of light to put on when it gets dark. I like to make sure I have some way of keeping insects away from myself. It is lovely to have something to sit on outside my tent like a mat on the grass.
I have camped in England, Croatia, Australia and New Zealand. The best campsite I have been to was one that only allowed up to 5 tents. It is on the route of the Abel Tasman Walkway in New Zealand. It is by the beach and has amazing views. I needed to know the time of the low tide in order to cross rivers on that wonderful walk of several days.
