Feeling empty even when you're among 1000 people is called loneliness. For some it is good, and for some it is not. Oh by the way, I am going to add you. So that you don't feel the loneliness anymore. :))

For me loneliness is a feeling I get when I am with a lot of people. Sometimes I feel lost and just want to go home. But then you don't want to be a party breaker. Sometimes people talk about things that I don't know anything about. That makes me feel out of place. Then the other problem I have, is when there are many people around, I need to concentrate so hard to understand everyone. I am not deaf, but when different people around me are talking the voices just seem to glide together. I get tired and frustrated because I can't keep up with the conversations. That makes me feel lonely. I always try to avoid parties and big reunions.

In my opinion loneliness is a state of mind. If you are alone and don't feel the need to be with other people than you don't feel lonely. It is all about how you perceive things. There are people who are always between others and still feel lonely, and there are people who are most of their time alone but don't feel lonely at all. I think it is also related of the type of person you are. There are people who always try to be with others and make some connections with them. And there are people who are fine being alone, they don't really need others to make them feel good.

It's when something is like tearing you apart, that no matter how people around you try to make you happy, you can't force yourself to because a much stronger emotion is controlling you and pulling you down low. You feel broken, confused, unwanted, depressed, exhausted, pierced, and lost...LOST and you can't trace your way back to where you were before...
