Windows XP was released in 2001. That was long enough ago for all of us to do all the tweaks we ever needed - years ago! But now we have copycats giving all the old tips from everywhere over the Internet. It is plagiarism at its worst. The fact that most new users have never even used XP doesn't matter. Vista and Windows 7 don't exist in the raj!
Enough! We don't need this discussion site to be changed into a computer workshop!
How do you others feel?

The majority of computer users do know how old the XP operating system is. They still form the majority, and that could be part of the reason why there are still people giving out old tips which have been around for some time in cyberspace. Many are new users, and some do not wish or want to upgrade. The fact is Microsoft has extended support for Windows XP.
On the other hand I do realise that many self-proclaimed experts simply restate what others have expounded before. They have no real experience. At the very least they should have admitted that they got the info from somewhere else, instead of pretending to know everything. They are the ones who give an overall negative view of their own respective country. Then they claim that they are being discriminated against.
I think it is up to us whether to accept or reject any opinion or suggestion on the XP OS. As long as people still use it, there will still be a demand on tips and solutions.
