Can Liverpool bring back the glory days?

Liverpool FC used to be the dominant team in the English Premier League and Europe with the likes of John Barnes, Ian Rush, Bruce Grobbelaar... But since the rise of Manchester United and other teams, it has been really difficult for LFC to recapture its glory days. The managers they keep bringing in are usually below par except Rafa Benitez. The players they sign are also usually not exceptional. And with the American owners, they are now laden with debt to make matters worse. With the consistency of Man U, the attacking prowess of Chelsea, the technical skills of Arsenal and the sudden rise of Manchester city, it would prove very difficult for Liverpool to squeeze into the top 4 let alone win the domestic title and the European title.

Arsenal have gone quiet for 18 years before they won their first league title in long time in 1989. Man Utd waited 25 years before Alex Ferguson brought the title back to Old Trafford. Chelsea? Half a century. So what Liverpool is going through now is what the rest have had. Their last title is in 1990 and that has been a long 20 years.

Maybe they haven't won the Premier League for long, but they managed to win the UEFA Cup in 2001, the Champions League in 2005, and I think that international trophies are far more important than home leagues. Of course, it is really nice to win the national league and cup, but if you cannot prove yourself on the international stage, then it is almost useless I think. But like every great team, and Liverpool is definitely one of them, will eventually win the home league as well. But if I were a Liverpool fan, I would prefer the Champions League or Europa League instead of the Premier League.

Liverpool like any other italian team. that is their running out of wondermaker like zinedine zidane, Juan Veron, Del Piero; in Liverpool, Torres is not alike another Liverpool Legend he's individual type of striker that rely on his speed; unlike When Michael Owen was in Liverpool He got speed, instinct, power and teamwork. Liverpool Need somebody like Iniesta, Xavi, Forlan, or Maybe Like Messi...
