I need a great pick me up item in the mornings. Can you suggest one?

I find it extremely difficult to be up in the morning. I've never really been a morning person, as I'm used to waking up late in the day. But, I think I can be more productive if I wake up earlier. The problem is, I get cranky from sleepiness every time I wake up early! Can you give me a tip how I can solve this? P.S. I don't like coffee, I get hyper-acidic, so if you have other suggestions than that one, they would be highly appreciated. Thanks!

Coffee is bad for some one with acid problems any how. I am the same way when I wake up. I can sleep for 12 hours especially if my daughter isnt here. I dont know if this will work for you but I find that going to be around 9-10 or even a little later and you wake up in the morning and clean or have a cup of hot tea(good choice for caffien if you dont drink coffee). Cleaning a little or making those phone calls you couldnt make before because youve slept too late will give you a sense of accomplishment. I usually end up doing like 6 loads of laundry and work out a bit. Find some activity that requires physical movement with my daughter. By the end of the day I am tired again unless I get online and sit here all day. With my husband having fibromyalgia I usually sleep when hes ready and wake up when hes ready and its very hard to do anything cause he wants me up his but all day and all he does is watch tv.

Hmm. You have really nice suggestions. I think I'm going to try some of them, especially the cleaning up part. That would really make me productive. :) I'm sorry about your husband, my bf does that a lot too. lol Thanks for the tips! :D

What I would suggest for you is to start sleeping early so you will be able to get your sleep without waking up cranky. I'm not one to talk, I sleep at 3 to am and I wake up around noon or even after that. But if I wanted to wake up early and happy I usually start sleeping early. But with the fall season of new series' that would be hard to do. haha :D

I would probably suggest that since your body is not use to waking up early that you take a nap sometime during the day. Maybe do this for a few days and hopefully it may work.
