Haha, have I caught your attention already. Yup, not all choclates are created equal. There has been proven health benefits of the heart when you consume dark chocolates. Choclate is actually plant derived. A small bar of it everyday can help keep your heart and cardiovascular system running well besides providing plenty of anti-oxidants. It helps to lower blood pressure - that is reduce blood pressure in individuals with high blood pressure. It also helps lower bad cholesterol by up to 10%. However do note that one third of the fat in dark choclate is not so good for you so eating in moderation is important besides a balanced diet and exercise. So are you having a Hershey's soon?

I am a bit unusual as I never eat chocolate. Most people that know me know I do not eat chocolate. As I kid I suppose I may have liked it but I can remember back to my teen years that this is not something I like. However, it sounds like that those who it eat with moderation are actually doing something good towards their health.

Hi. carpediem17. If I am not having a Hershey's bar I will be soon! I love dark chocolate and I believe in eating healthy to avoid having illnesses come upon my body. I am going to buy some dark chocolate this month, because I want to eat and stay healthy.

Yes, I have heard this before actually. Too bad I don't really like dark chocolate, only milk chocolate!

I've also heard that dark chocolate is much healthier than other chocolate. I agree, however, that the key to healthy eating is moderation.
