Mylot is Crazy but I'm Happy!!!

Alright here I was cursing my luck for my earnings. I labored a lot that day and what do I get? Only a cent for my efforts. However, yesterday I started only one discussion and responded to about 8 or 9, and guess what? Mylot gives me 25 cents for my efforts. Yes, a whole quarter of a dollar for the little time I spent! So I am extremely happy. I guess we will never learn how this works but no, the one cent per post theory is obsolete. My earnings prove it. Anyways I'm really happy. I'm new here but still it is the most I've manage on this site so far and people here are going to see me around for quite some time now. Thank you mylot and mylotters for your support.

I haven't start any discussion here yet nor having any payout cause i only got few cents but im enjoying responding to any discussion that i guess ive got something valuable to share to. So here i am, answering to one of your post :D. Also, mylot makes my mind work. Help me make think on things especially the question and answer portion. I love it! Also it make me de-stressed on my work or it serves an outlet for me to speak up whats on my mind and divert my attention on something that is valuable and enjoyable :D

You are so very right. Listening to people totally helps you unwind. And I've always been against the idea of bottling up my ideas. I like to let it flow. But whats the use of all the idea flow if there's no one to listen to. I mean I could write a diary and then it would soon get lost, but human audience is always a pleasure talking to. I get lots of good feedback here. And people are really helpful. So enjoy have fun. And thanks for posting.

Its not like that. mylot and our time zones are different. and mylot pay us as per their time.. so even you think that you have work good today but as per mylot time you are still on yesterdays date.. So whenever you work here just keep watch on date and time of mylot which is given below on page... So as per their date if you have work hard on 20th September (as per their date) then on 21st September's earnings update you will earn more... Hope this will help you to understand the things..

I understand the different time zone thing but I checked my earnings 24 hours after my so called hard work. But I'm sure they pay more than a cent per post. Anyways thanks for posting. God bless you.

well... may be i am misunderstanding (or not)
just take a look here :
As you are from also India .. Suppose you are working 11 o'clock at today on our Indian timing.. But that will be 00:30(means 12:30 AM morning) mylot timing.. Now if you will check your earnings after 24 hours which is again 11 o'clock on the next day.. But you will not get the earnings of the day you work as Mylot is updating earnings at the night as Indian timing so in the night you will able to get that days earnings..
I don't want to make you confuse more about it... hope you are understanding all.. because i never get such problems like you here :)

Actually the one cent I earned was about 2 days ago. The day before that I posted a lot and next day I saw my earnings. Anyways mylot seems to have made up for that day. :)

Thank you for the time you spent responding. I think mylot is all about the big brotherhood that we get here. My problems are yours and yours are mine. And the earnings are an added bonus.

Yes you're right. A strange thing I noticed was (I don't know how it can affect my earnings) is that when I was conscious of my earnings I was getting less but when I focused on posting and not earning I got quite a bit, I must say. I know it sounds crazy but it did happen a couple of times. Thanks for posting.

it's not about the money anymore for you right? You seem to be njoying, and that's a good thing. I thought this will give me little amount, but it doesnt matter to me anymore now. I am enjoying, I dont care about the money anymore. It's too little to do this for business, this is more for fun, for networking, finding friends, sharing thoughts and becoming a more socially inclined person that you were before. I love mylot.:)

I long ago gave up on trying to figure out they measure how much you earn. I earned $.45 a few nights ago which made me really happy. Good luck with your earnings and Happy Mylotting!

45 cents? That's really good. I think you had to respond to 20+ discussions and start a few too. That's all fine. The people who wonder what a quality post is, I'd like to tell them, use correct spelling and grammar to start off with. Thanks for posting.

that's the same as me,some days i can do loads and think i've earnt at least a dollar,but i don't,yet other days i can do hardly anything and get loads

You actually earn a dollar a day? That must be taking a hell of a lot of posting. Is it mostly starting discussions that gets the job done or mostly responding. maybe a bit of both. The most I've done here is 25 cents. So a dollar would be great if only I knew how to. Thanks for posting.

Yeah thanks a ton. I know having fun is more important than earning money here. I try to help a few people but it's not much. I try learning about people and their worries too. Kind of helps me appreciate how lucky I really am without many worries.

I had the same thing happen. Yesterday I only saw my earnings increase by two cents. I did a bunch of posts but they were smaller posts and came back here today and gained eighteen cents. I too have not figured out how they determine what we get from our posts but I am not complaining ;) I am happy just to be getting paid something. As long as I see the earnings increasing, I will be back and posting more.

True. So true, but it can buy you a lot of other things that in turn can buy you happiness. e.g. Money can buy you a well deserved vacation with your family and who would disagree that some quality time with family can't make you happy. Money can help you donate to the needy. That would make me happy. So in a way it can make me happy although indirectly.

Did you read the faq about how to earn more? Make sure your posts are significant length and all that fun stuff. I have been on my lot a while actually a lot longer than my posting number shows. I quit for a while simply because I was busy. However, the one thing I can tell you is that my lot does pay and on time. I have received a few payments from them, in fact I just reach payout again. Every time I make payout it is on time. Once you get to 500 posts you can copy and paste links, not for referrals though. You can also add pics which seems to greatly increase your earnings.

Congrats. I haven't earned more than 12C here in Mylot. However, like you I'm happy. i enjoy the discussions here. :)
