Gardening in Spring

Hiya margi, There is a garden outside but it is not mine to do what I want with. It belongs to the owner of this Flat so I cannot go digging up anything as there is only surface soil here. The grass that grows is very dry and sparse so I am quite lucky in a sense that it does not grow very much as the soil it grows in is only about three hand deep below it are the underground garages. I would love to be able to grow all what you are growing but I can´t so instead I will keep up with what you and others do instead. I have bought some beautiful alubia verde today (green Beans) and they were in a very good state for a change can´t wait to eat them. I do the donkey work outside like pulling the weeds up because the weeds will even grow through the concrete too and cut the Ivy back and cut the grass with a pair of Garden Clippers all by hand. I have almost finished doing it now and it will stay like that till I feel like doing it all over again.

Only gardening thing I do in the fall is plant bulbs...

Hi, marguicha I have no garden, just a balcony and the flowers are still alive, don´t know how long though! I wish there were a tunnel right through the earth with a fast lift that could take me to the southern hemisphere at least for some months while we have winter here! Well - I guess we have to do like the bears and sleep more and wait till the spring comes to us again. It would be great to see some photos from your garden..
