I want to change user name of my gmail account.. can it be possible

Hey friends i want to cahnge my user name in gmail account.. but i have not find any options in gmail setting tabs.. so can you tell me it is possible or not.. I think it is very tuff to change user name.. as once you craeted.. because their is no more setting that how can i change this.. please help me.. and if anybody know.. that how can be it possible.. i am waiting for your response..

Unfortunately you cannot change your username. The only thing you can and have to change frequently is your password. You have to delete your account to get a new username. TATA.

So open a new one then. You can have more than one with different usernames.

I would just open an account with the user name that I wanted. You can have more than one accounts. You will just have to move your contacts. That might be easier than changing your name.

This is possible in yahoo to change your username to be displayed but not to change the username. Username are unique and they cant change just like that. The whole system will be collapsed. Think about those friends of yours who knows your mail id by that user name and if you change this what will happen.
