Are you always using the pressure cooker?

Do you always use the pressure cooker to make your meat very soft as possible?
How often do you use your pressure cooker?
How long are you using it? And how long does the meat will be soft while using this pressure cooker?
What are your cautions when using this pressure cooker?
We are actually using this pressure cooker when we have beef and beef stripe for Kare Kare recipe. It depends to the content but sometimes it took us more than 1 hour before the meat will be soften.

I use my pressure cooker for legumes, for some meats that are not tender and in some recipes where the meat has to fall from the bone. Besides that I use it sometimes on beets and if I am VERY late for a barbecue, I will boil the potatoes there.
The amount of time depends on what you are cooking. With legumes, I cook them in 10 minutes, while I fry the onions and the rest of the stuff.
Meat is tougher but the only meat that takes so long is tongue or a cow´s leg and foot.

All kinds of bood that take a long time to cook can be cooked in a pressure cooker. It is the best way to save on gas or electricity, depending on your range. I would never make legumes if it wasn´t for the pressure cooker. I hate to be hours preparing food in the kitchen.

Honestly I don't have the idea yet that any kind of food can be also be done or cooked inside the pressure cooker. But at least now I have an idea. Unfortunately we only have one pressure cooker here which we are using that for cooking the rice.

I think pressure cooker is also slow cooker in other terms that is why at times there are some recipes that requires slow cooker.

No i have a another cooker for make meet.. yes for meet their is a special cooker in my home.. and sometimes i cook meet in this cooker... what about you.. do you use only homes cooker or another else..

Here in Brazil it is very common to use it. People use it almost everyday. I use the pressure cooker to cook beans. Here we eat beans and rice everyday. The pressure cooker save us time and money, we spend less gas or power to cook the food (beans, meat, etc).

In our country we only use that pressure cooker just for rice. Then if we want to make food then usually of course in the pan with gas opening.
