First Day of Fall 2010

It will already be the first day of Fall 2010 on Wednesday. September 22 is right around the corner so there are only a couple of more days left of summer fun! I already feel the fall chill in the air. I don't think it will get warm enough to swim although you never know. We had a hot, humid summer so it might be a bit of a relief to have cooler days. Fall sunshine brings to mind apples, pumpkins, harvest and Halloween. While we might have to say good-bye to summer, I enjoy greeting the first day of fall. Happy autumn!

Yup, Fall is just around the corner. The leaves are turning yellow already. Summer was just too short where I am, I would say. The temperatures were close to Fall-like most of the days, and rained and rained almost continuously. I hope Fall would be much more pleasant. Happy autumn to you too !

I really like autumn, as I think the weather is really nice and comfy. As I am staying in tropical country, hence I can't get to enjoy the four seasons, as it's always very hot in my country here. I went to Australia once, and I really enjoyed the different weather there, well, except for summer. I didn't know there's a specific day to start a season. Happy autumn! I can imagine the yellow leaves hanging on the tree.

i like fall becaue the weather is cooler, kids are back to school, that sort of thing. some trees are already starting to turn up here.

I am from Florida so even though it is soon to be fall we will probably have summer like temperatures for at least another month. It is still in the mid to upper 90s here. It does seem a little more tolerable now than it did 4 weeks ago though. I love the fall. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays and the weather is just so comfortable.
