has anyone had any luck with referral swap programs?

Hey all I recently joined a referal swap program (if u want details see profile, im not allowed to link here). Basically, the way it works is u get points for clicking on ads and signing up to other peoples programs, which you can then use to display banners/ get people to sign up to your programs. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this. Is it sucessful? Its just that i am sick of not having any referals on any earning site i am on, meaning that i only really get a few cents each day :(
