fake profile on facebook?

How will i check who's faking my profile in Facebook? he uses my full name either also some pictures. In short, he created an account under my name? With that, I would like to check who's that person or impersonator will be.

well first of all, you should put a privacy lock about who can view your profile, who can view your photos etc. So that if any1 tries to fake your account, you know that it is someone in your friend list. About finding the person who is faking, you will have to search for the people with your name and check all the people that show up manually. Then report him to facebook so that that profile is blocked and your pics are not circulated.

just follow what he said and report the profile to facebook so that they can remove the account.

hello armie,i don't have such issues but i have some problem which looks similar.
i have a sister who don't have facebook account but then,someone is using her email address as their email in facebook.we have seen the person but we are not sure who he is. why is it that they both have the same email account? is that possible? she really is annoyed and pissed off when she keep on receiving notifications from facebook in her mail,eventhough she has not been a member there.
can anyone tell me,how to get rid of it?

You can sometimes see their email publicly. That way some one could possiy track and find them. That's what my friend told me anyway.
Then there's this button on facebook that says "report this user" I bet you can add details on why your reporting the user. And just tell facebook what you told us! I hoped I helped. Happy mylotting and have a great day!

Maybe you can consult with a private investigator. Once you do this, they will be able to track the exact location that the person uses for that phony facebook page. Once you have proof, you can take him to court for displaying for personal info

Recently a friend of mine got this problem too, we only report the fake profile on the 'report this person' feature of facebook. Until now the fake profile is not yet deleted tho. We are also planning to trace this person but she just decided to tell all her friend to delete or don't add this fake profile 'cause in the end this person will just get tire anyways.

yes dear, you have to check and its really bad that some one is using your profile or he create an account under your name
