Best Blogging site?

I don't know of many that pay, but I am new to it and want to expand. I only have one blog at the moment, as well as a hubpages account. I do alot of how to and DIY stuff, as far as living a green lifestyle, arts and crafts and stuff like that. I want to write about what I would be writing about anyway and maybe make a few bucks on the side. Right now I only use yousaytoo, which is a really fun one that ties into your adsense account. I asked some other people this same question on another site and their answers were less than helpful and not useful at all, they just made me go on a wild hunt for nothing promising. I want answers that include your personal experience, please.
