Why do most men does not bring an umbrella even with heavy rain?

I am male yet I think it is a must to bring out an umbrella especially when it is raining heavily.I do not see the umbrella a feminine thing because it is a must to carry it out because if you do not use it,then you would be not fit to where ever you have an appointment that day.I am just practical to use it because it is very necessary,yet it does not make me a sisi of bringing it,that I look neat and presentable and the most important of all,that I am not wet from the rain.

Thank you very much for the response.I think now an umbrella is already a necessity to a male thing because the skies frequently went cloudy and a sudden rain is always expected.The rain is unpredictably not known to shower for a long hour or just mild splash to wipe out the humidities in the areas affected.

well im one of these people 
i really find it a drag to have something carry another thing besides my bag.
but i have now those small umbrellas so it isnt really a worry at all now.

Thank you very much for the response.That is very fine,my friend,because bringing a folding umbrella is a must as of this season,as it really protects us as well as we can have an instant friend,who wishes to go with our umbrellas because they are in a hurry and we are the only hope they can go to their destinations.

I do agree that umbrella is not a feminine thing. But, bringing long stuff can be very annoying for me, even though now there are smaller models.
I prefer a thick raincoat over umbrella. It has the same function and it can cover the whole body. The cape can protect our head from raindrops also.
I've got a very comfortable and thick raincoat I can even hide my bags or belongings inside while traveling in the rain.

Thank you very much for the response.In accordance to your opinion am not annoyed in bringing an umbrella,because I will just fold it and put it inside my bag,and I can go anywhere without the hassle.It is up to the way a person handles his ways,that is why you preferred your raincoat and not the umbrella.That's what you wanted,so just feel great and have a nice day!!!
