My daughter is 7 months old, she has 2 bottom teeth. In the last few weeks she has decided that she really isn't interested in eating baby food or formula (she will only drink formula twice a day; right before bed and if she gets up at night. I have tried giving her formula in her sippy cup and she refuses it. The only liquid she gets to drink is water). I have been giving her soft vegetables, cut up fruit, some wheat bread. She also gets some of what we have for dinner (for example last night we gave her small pieces of potatoes, soft carrots, and shredded roast; tonight we will have salmon and asparagus). She is getting bored with this diet though. I don't feed her the same items all the time and she will eat anything. Mangoes, pomegranate, apples, pear, blueberries, bananas, green beans, squash, ect The only item that I have any any problem with is the gross green pea baby food. Whats some different, unique items I can give her?

You can always make some simple healthy snacks for your daughter, but make sure the food that you offer to her is soft and easy to digest as she only has 2 bottom teeth. You can also offer her some healthy porridge, mixed with some vegetables and meat, of course, don't give her the meat, but you can always try give her some soft vegetable. Avoid offering her those heaty snacks which may not do good to her. YOu can visit this website : http://wholesomebabyfood.com This is a great website talking about healthy food for baby(for meal and snacks time). I have been browsing this website since I have my little boy and I did tried out some of the idea given by this website. Have a browse on it and hope it may help to give you a better idea for your daughter food.

Here are some finger foods she may like: Fruit: sliced bananas baked apple cubes melon cubes Pieces of avocado sliced kiwi fruit Blueberries veggies: (all cooked soft but not mushy) Cubes of sweet potatoes peas Cubes of squash beets, cut into sticks or cubed small cut green beans carrots, diced Other healthy snacks: Lightly toasted breads Scrambled egg yolks Bite size pieces of cheese Pea size pieces of cooked chicken Cereals, such as puffed rice or Cheerios Some of my children got bored with baby food as well and were very curious about what the big people were eating. I experimented by cutting veggies into small pieces and made sure they were soft enough. I introduced my children to as much as I could when they were real young as that is when to instill good eating habits. My children who bored easily with baby food became good eaters and would at least try most foods when they were older. It is a blessings when they eat a large variety of foods especially if you also have a child who is a very picky eater.
