Are you addicted to happiness?

I am a happiness addict. I long for financial ease and for traffic to cease.Isn't that what abundant life is all about? -Do you avoid painful situations? -Do you make daily decisions based on your own wants? -What do prayers sound like? Do you ask?Demand? I admit that these aren't easy questions. We should seek our personal happiness over God's smile. I get caught up in materialism, always wanting more-more-more and forgetting that He is my provider. It may sound normal, but in reality, it's tyranny. Because when will we ever get enough? So are you? What do you long for the most to be always happy. Enumerate a few or a dozen!!!

First of all, how do we define happiness? Some might only be happy when they have money or being rich. While there are some out there, content with just proper meals and a shelter over their head. True happiness depends on what we want, whether it's addictive or not, i won't know. There wont't be such a time whereby we can always be happy. Everything has got a grace period, and who knows what hides behind an happy face?

Just like the others, i am longing for what world can offer to me. Expensive bags, shoes, accessories, car etc.. But there's just one question linger in my mind. After getting all you want in life, what's next? Am i happy? I'm sure most of us still wanting for more. And that's make us unsatisfied even we have everything. We forgot that only God can complete the emptiness and fulfill the missing pieces to our life. GOD Bless All.

I totally agree with you. We cant find real happiness in materialism because it is just temporary. We can find true happiness in God. Because in Him, we are contented in His love
