Problem with wi-fi key

I have some problems with my internet wi fi key. It does not work correctly. i have connected through wi-fi my father's PC in order not to have the annoyance of the cables. Sometimes when my father switch-on him PC, the key seems to sleep or to go in stand-by, i must remove it and re-insert for having the internet connection.
The key has always worked correctly until the past month.
What is the problem?

the problem may be that you forget the wifi key. or you r not in the range of your father's wifi area . so you may geeting problem , or virus or torjans may be infected your pc. so you have to reinstall your os . and reconfigure your wifi settings. before this you have to install a good antivirus. to your pc. and keep in mind the key. or the alternate solution is you can download aircreak software .tis will find your wifi key, and display u.
