I haven't seen it but I heard that SyFy channel had made a movie based on the book Mystery Island by Jules Verne. I've read the book years ago so I don't remember much about it but I do remember a few things about it.
Since I know many of the film adaptations of Jules Verne books change a few things (like adding a love interest in 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea or a fight scene in Around The World in 80 days) I was just wondering if anyone had seen this movie and how it compared to the book. How far did it differ than the original story.

I bought the movie, being a childhood fan of the books written by Jules Verne. But this film does not really meet all the book itself, the chronological order of events, etc..
Captain Nemo in the book appears only to end up shipwrecked when offering help in an anonymous, no giant animals and insects on the island and no radioactive materials. Not to mention the construction of bombs on the island by Nemo, justifying this on the island's Nemo.
Shipwrecked in the book to adapt effectively manage the living conditions of the island passing through various events. No pirates do not appear on any island in search of treasure, especially since the beginning of the book.
The movie deviates much from the book's true subject.
