can you really hate someone that much? what can one do just because of hatred?

just wondering can someone really hate?i mean hate to the maximum level that he would do anything..can someone hate somebody they don't really know that much?i mean they just hate you for no reason at all or are you that hateful?could it be the things that you do that make them hate you?how does it work?is it the person that is hated or it's juat the way other people behave towards other people?what do you think guys?

I have moments in my life where I have dis-liked certain people, but what I do so I do not harm my own persona is that I keep away from them and any negativity as the last thing I need is to continue to build the hatred when in fact this would not be good for me.
We have all heard hundreds of stories where people build up so much hatred that they end up shooting and killing innocent bystanders and this is so unfair.

Dude, some people hate so much that they have a psychotic break and kill people, like they just snap.
Some people just innately hate you because they dont like your personality, the way you look, or what they perceive that you stand for.
All in all you have to shake those haters and try not to spend time wondering about how they can survive being so hateful! They must be hella stressed out.
