I went to login to my CL account and got this message: "Your account has been frozen. If you feel that this is an error, please click the support link to the left, and submit an appeal form." So of course I write in and ask what's happening. I only had 10 cents in my account, with a little over 2 points. Well, I got a reply -- "I've just looked through your account and I can honestly say that I'm not sure why your account was frozen. The admin that froze your account did not leave a reason, so unfortunately, I cannot offer you the answer you're looking for. Also, unfortunately, I cannot just reinstate your account once it has been banned." So what do they require me to do in order to get back my account? Scan or fax a Photo ID and a copy of mail with my address listed on it.... they list examples of what mail is appropriate and the types of IDs they allow. I've been a member for almost 4 YEARS and suddenly this happens? And the admin isn't the one who has to explain or fix the problem but THE MEMBER IS RESPONSIBLE TO FIX A PROBLEM I did NOT create??? It's absolutely ridiculous. Suffice to say, I'm not doing that. They can keep the 10 cents and 2.5 points. I'm done with them. So I just wanted to pass this along. I'm not sure how active the site is, I rarely hear about it on mylot, since there are SO many better Get-Paid-To site on the web. But they just lost a member. Ahem. Anyway, sorry for the rant. Anyone else experience problems with GPT sites like this?? What did you do?
