I feel deeply honored when an online friend Leonard Bowers Jr. featured his friends in the video of his cover song "My Friend" in his latest album of 8 songs. He is a singer composer from Ohio, U.S. He sang mostly his original compositions. Leo is a friend from Yuwie, a social networking site. I received an email from him asking permission to include my pic among his friends featured in his video. Now the video of the song "My Friend" by leobowersjr is at the YouTube. So glad my picture and so with his other friends were included in his video and the song is all about on how he regards his friends. What a beautiful gift for his friends, he made. Thanks Leo for a job well done. Hurray for "My Friend".

And some say we don't make true friendships online.
This is proof that not only do we make friendships, but we sometimes touch others in ways we can never imagine!!!

Yes Lady Marissa, am wondering why some people don't trust online friends. I have so many good online friends and we're friends for more than two years or since I started d with the internet. I think by just being true to them they'll be true to you as well. Thanks for the response, friend.

Oh, I understand why people don't trust online friends as you don't always know who is really on the other side!!! However, if you truly pay attention, I think that you can lessen the chance of dealing with an online predator. I have realtime friends who have been taken advantage of by people they met in person. If someone is determined to scam you, they will do it in realtime as easily as on the internet with the only difference being you can see if they're male or female!!! I had a female friend who met a man on the internet & they fell in love. She had black hair, was 5' 2" tall & weighed over 300 pounds. She was married with 3 children. When her online lover asked for a pic of her, she took a pic she had of her best friend & sent that to him. Her best friend was blond, 5' 10" & weighed 125 pounds. When the 2 finally decided that they could not live without being together, he flew to the US from Germany & boy did he have a surprise!!! He handled it very well at the time & they did indeed run off together to start their lives together. Sadly, he never forgave her for lying to him. They were together for about 11 years; but with every disagreement they had, he threw it in her face that she "was a liar". They are no longer together. Had she just been honest, they might still be together!!! He had fallen in love with her for the person she was on the inside. However, he couldn't forgive her for the lie!!! I met my husband online, so I know online relationships can be REAL!!!!

I'm just lucky to find true friends but maybe there are also friends who take advantage but it depends maybe to us if we noticed that they're making scam or foolish things then stop making friends with them. I'm happy for you LadyMarissa for finding your husband online. I also truly believe, online relationships can be real. Thanks friend...God bless...
