Would you like to spend your two weeks in an SUV/Car and wait for a tornado to hit the place you're in? Well this place in the Midwest, USA called Tornado Alley has some of the most destructive Tornadoes in the world. I don't know but I am adventurous and I would really like to try this but... well its too dangerous I guess... But it won't hurt if you are going to watch it far... hehehe... if I have those very heavy and state of the art cars that Tornado Hunters have I would love to.. How bout you guys? Ready for some natural disaster hunting?

Hiya freymind, Once we were caught in a really bad Storm with very high Winds. It was really awful. I would not like to go looking for that kind of Weather. I love to see Thunder Storms but inside the House and keeping nice and warm and feeling safe. Can appreciate your sense of adventure though.

Hiya FM, Those kind of Storms can seem like they don´t do much at all till they really get going and that´s when you realize the power of Nature. Most of these Towns have been built where there was once a River Bed and the Water always returns to where it came from. We have very very strong Winds but hardly ever Tornadoes as such.

For a long time I wanted to be a tornado chaser. I think it would be interesting to see.

I sort of did this once when I spent a year at Iowa State on a fellowship in Ames, Iowa. For some reason that summer there was a tornado somewhere nearby every Thursday night. I can remember that because we used to go out for pizza and play pool in a bar afterwards watching TV. The first tornado of the year took out most of a town that I passed on the Interstate when I wen to Kansas City. I remember another time when a guy from Connecticut spent one Thursday wondering if he should call his wife to wake her up and tell that her a tornado was nearby. The worst for me was being in the Des Moines airport waiting for a plane when a tornado was few miles away. The sky turned black. I saw one plane give up trying top land and head to Waterloo, IA. Then they moved us into the stairwells in case the windows blew out.

like in the movie "twister" this would be exciting for some people, but not for me though. i'm just not that kind of thrill-seeker. i love my life too much! LOL!
