Someone very dear to me is suffering from allergic rhinitis. He's nose is easily irritated with dust and abrupt climate change. He's nose also reacts when he takes a bath early in the morning. He would suffer from runny nose and would sneeze a lot. Sometimes his nose would drip throughout the day. I know its really inconvenient for him as well as embarrassing but they said there is no guaranteed cure for it. He doesn't want to go through an operation. So he just live with it. A friend suggested acupuncture but we were not able to try it yet. Do you have any suggestions, recommendations or tips on how to prevent rhinitis attacks? What can I do to help him deal with it? What medicines can best help alleviate the effects of rhinitis? Feel free to post your response or reaction or anything you want to say about this topic. Thanks. :D

Hi thank you for the response. :) I think vitamin c can also help boost our immune system ... Anti histamines give temporary relief. I still hope there will be a medical break through that will cure allergic rhinitis permanently. Thanks for the reply again and happy mylotting! :)

hello...I have allergic rhinitis and been very careful with it for all my life ..I have been taking anti-histamine every time I had an attack and I am taking vitamin C regularly but if allergy is present & you have taken anti-histamine....vitamin c in take is not advisable.
