what season do you like to go camping.

I have been waiting to go camping since last winter... ha. I wanted to see how camping in the cold would be, but I love camping in the fall and am going to try my best to get us on the mountain and camping before fall is over. I didn't much want to go in the summer because its miserably hot most of the time during the summer here, but I know people love to swim while camping and like going in the summer.
I think I would enjoy winter camping if I had the right stuff to keep me warm, but my favorite time to go camping would be the fall. What time of year do you go camping and why? Also share with me what you like to do while camping. Hiking trails is what keeps me entertained, maybe a little fishing, just relaxing and enjoying nature is the best part of camping.

My family goes camping during summer vacation since the weather is so nice and we can have fishing in the river. I really enjoy camping since I can see the nature and feel the creation of God. When we go on camping we go on fishing, swimming in the lake, catch wild animals whenever we seen one and also do a bonfire. I really love camping!

heheeh yeah! I do loved it too. but sometimes im quite afraid because there are other animals that are very dangerous especially snakes..really hate it!

going in the winter is an experience every outdoorsman should do it atleast once. the summer is ok but down here in Bama it can get up to 100 degrees with 99% humidity so camping in the summer can be hellish going during a mild winter or in march or october can be really nice.

I like to camp in the summer but I also like to camp in the fall when all the tree leaves are so pretty and it is not to hot out the nights a little cold but with a good sleeping bag it is fine. As for winter ou really have to have spedial tents and sleep bags for that I live in wisconsin when almost evey night of winter is below zero and my uncle has sleeping bags good until -40 below zero he likes camping in the winter. Fall is definately the prettiest though.

Oh my, no I wouldnt go camping in the winter THERE then, I would here but it ussually isnt even freezing.

I like fall and winter camping myself. You don't have to worry about bugs and it makes the campfire seem all that much better. Here in Alabama I sometimes go in December and even January. Usually have to go by myself then though...too cold for most of my friends.

We use to do our school camping every summer so its much easy for us to make fire and the ground is not wet so we can move more easy. We only do camping on the vacant lot of our school so i can say its a little bit boring that having camping on the mountains with tribes.
