A nice suprise

I was sitting out on my porch earlier today, and it was a little hot out there. It was a little cloudy, but I wasn't expecting any rain. Suddenly, it started raining, and the temperature dropped what felt like ten degrees almost instantly. It was a nice surprise, and I sat out there for a while just enjoying the cool breeze that the shower brought with it. Have you experienced anything like this?

Once I went to school on a warm, sunny morning, and the fog came in, and I was really cold. Hasn't happened to me with rain though.

There is nothing like the refreshing feeling of a sudden rain-shower while working outside during the summer in the heat. You get hot and sweaty out there, and the rain suddenly cools you off, refreshing and revitalizing you. If you have never experienced this, you have my pity...LOL

In Hawaii, yes, but warm rain. In Germany, maybe, I don't remember any more. But in California it doesn't really do that in summer, except maybe on the beach or up in the mountains.

I experienced something similar last week. When i got up i realized that we'd just gotten a light shower of rain. The atmosphere was so clean and fresh and cool, i went for a short walk before going to work that day.

We had something similar happen here on Friday. It was really hot all day and we wanted to go to an outdoor concert that they were having here in town. It started raining a couple hours before the concert and we thought that we weren't going to be able to go. Well, it stopped raining a few minutes before the concert was slated to start and we went and it was absolutely delightful outside. We had a blast and really enjoyed the weather.

Well, it's rainy season here in the Philippines so it rains a lot these days. It's so hot during the day and it rains later in the afternoon. I love rain a lot when I am at home. I don't like going out especially if I am going to work. But the kid in naturally loves rain so much!
At my age I love getting soaked in the rain (as long as I'm not in uniform or in my office attire) LOL! I remember one time when I went home so wet. I got soaked because it was raining so hard and I didn't bring an umbrella with me. So, I brought a chair outside and sit under the rain. As I was savoring the cool feeling of every raindrop on my face when surprisingly, the rain has stopped! Know what? I went to the backyard and took a pail of water, with soap and shampoo too! LOL! I ended up taking a bath outside the house with my clothes on!

Well, it's rainy season in the Philippines so it rains a lot these days. It's so hot from 7 a.m. and what's surprising is it rains later in the afternoon. I love rain a lot!!!

Oh yes this happened to my husband and I while we were in Atlanta for his test. It was nice and the wind felt so good. It did rain rather hard at times.

I think it's one of the moments that we really appreciate the rain. Most of the times rain gives me a soothing feeling. And I like the music the rain brings. When I am home, either I go to sleep or do something because my mind is at ease.

many,many times in Ohio, when i lived there.and once 2 yrs ago when i went back for a visit. 
i never get anything good like that here in this stinking az. when it ever does rain, it doesnt cool things and the wind is so bad there no way you can stay out and enjoy it. i want my home state back. you are lucky you live somewhere like that.

I was expecting a nice surpize to be about anything else but the weather :D Weater, temperature, they are always full of surprises for us, and unexpected, especialy when you are in a roadtrip by foot, but they always fallow a scheme that we have not yet fully understood
