How I Love Karl Pilkington!

Who is Karl Pilkington? Well, if you notice, in the video, sat next to him is Ricky Gervais that most people know about and Karl is his mate who was the producer of the XFM radio show that Ricky and Stephen Merchant did..and Karl became the star of their podcasts that they've been doing for years. I don't think they do them now. What's funny about Karl is that he's just being himself and I really don't think he's thick at all..well, not all the time. A lot of people reckon he's like a human version of Homer Simpson. Now and again he will come out with something quite profound and "An Idiot Abroad" is going to be an absolute scream on Sky1. Saw the 1st one on Thursday night and Karl is visiting all 7 wonders of the world...as arranged by Ricky Gervais so you can imagine what it's like. The thing is, Karl hates everything "foreign" but did it to "broaden his mind." On first viewing (the 1st show was all about the Great Wall of China which he thought was "rubbish") I don't think it's worked. If nothing else just marvel at his lovely Mancunian accent (he's from Manchester a la Oasis) if you don't know where that is lol.
