If you play Guitar, how much money would you pay for a handmade one?

I'm curious to know how much of your hard earned money you would part with for a hand built custom guitar. All the materials and specifications would be of your choice.

I'm not picky when it comes to musical instruments, except maybe the violin. So I guess, I won't spend much on a hand built custom guitar.

Hi there, Are you a guitarmaker? You didn't specify your price. There should be a limit to it. Suppose I'd say USD50.00 would you go for it? I'm planning to have one in the near future. It should be acoustic in laminated wood. Don't worry about the strings and the worm gears, I'll install them myself.

Of course the amount of money that I would be willing to shell out would be related to the quality of the guitar. A well crafted wood guitar sounds amazing and is worth the money if you can afford one. A custom made guitar sounds even better when they are made to tailor-fit your playing style. They really can make a big difference because they tend to make it so much easier to play clean notes instead of having any muddy sounding music coming out. I wish that I could afford one for myself, but alas I am unable to at this time. Wah!
