Everybody wants to get wealth. In today's material world, making money or becoming wealthy symbolizes a person's success and capability. Many people just make every effort, pay any price to attain greater wealth. With money, they can buy nice, large apartment in nice neighborhood. With money they can own luxurious cars. Wealth seems to bring all happiness in life. But it isn't a true in our society. Many people are so preoccupied with struggling for money that they have no time or would not take the time to form or maintain friendship. What happiness can they feel living as lonely miserable creatures without love or friends in the world even if they accumulate tremendous wealth? What's your opinions on this question?

Your right in the part that most people do want to get rich, maybe because they want to survive in our fallen world, but NOT ALL people who loves that material richness in life. Happiness, it's what matters most to me. To tell you honestly, we're not wealthy but I'M EXTREMELY HAPPY with my life. I still want to choose my happiness over wealth coz I don't want to waste my life. I could only get to live my life once so I don't want to have regrets one day for not doing the things I'm supposed to be doing- which is to be happy with my loved ones. I want to spend my life meaningfully and happily. NO regrets, No wat ifs! Have a meaningful life! God bless! ^_^

Yes, you are right. We need to pay more attention to our life. We should spend our life meaningfully and happily. So we need to try our best to do our work, and then we would receive our happiness in the future. Good luck!

Although the wealth is important, but the happiness is the most important for me. The life will be great with happiness. If you are unhappy, it means nothing even if you owe the whole world. I love China

Hello, xtmlove,to my way of thinkink, the two things both important to us.But I will choice happiness whether I must make a choose between happiness and wealth. In our lives,we need not only physics support but also mental support.Especially,we need more mental support than physics support to overcome all kinds of difficulty. For instance, the college entrance exam is the most important exam to chinese students. And before the exam ,the students need enoughe mental support to hold to the end. In the other way,we have a better lives whether we have enough money.Because we are societial people .We need money to buy all kinds of things which are necessary . In a wold,th wealth and happiness which is more important ? we can let them a balance even though it is not a easy thing.

I also think both of them are very important. But we should put happiness at first place.

If only all of the things we need in order to survive doesn't involve money, then I will choose happiness over wealth. But sadly, all around us, food, shelter, clothing, education, bills, transportation, all of them needed money.

I think that money can buy alot of things, but i do know that it can not buy happiness.I think that as long as there were people that were happy, money would not really matter,as money can be the root of all evil and money can not buy happiness.

Wealth would not be meaningful without happiness. I would still be looking for happiness to enjoy my wealth with.

Happiness for sure. There are tons of wealthy people out there who are not happy at all, and I for one would never want to trade places with them!

According to me both wealth and happiness are equal on thier places. Happiness is the meaning & purpose of life. As a literal sense money cannot buy happiness as happiness is a feeling & feelings cannot be purchased by money or wealth.

In my opinion, happiness is more important. Life is short, and we pursue happy life. There are many rich people devoting their whole life getting more money and regretful about not to enjoy life and family. This kind of life is lamentable. On the opposite, some are not rich, but they enjoy life everyday, content with simple living. No happiness, no life.

It is a reality that our world today has been bombarded with an intense need for money as if it is the only means for survival. I think we do not need to have so much money and become wealthy. We need to be contented and never live our life with the sole purpose of earning more and more money. We don't find genuine happiness with wealth particularly with money. We find true happiness with our loved ones and they should be our utmost priority because we know that they will not be with us forever. Life is only borrowed and it will be retrieved by its original owner soon. We should ensure to spend quality time with our loved ones.

Happiness is most important to me even though I dream of becoming rich one day. It would just be nice, but I think I'd like to give away a lot of the wealth once I attain it. Spread the love around to those more unfortunate than you is what I say. I'm a generally very happy go lucky person though and I don't expect that to change at any point in my life. Psychologists say that most people would prefer happiness and that more money doesn't necessarily make one happier.
