charity is for all. As much as the Lord has given us so much of His love we ought to give off ourselves as well no matter what our circumstances maybe. There are a lot of things in this life that don't need money for us to show charity to our fellow beings.

No I don't think so, because it would be another form of taxation if it is taken from our income. Furthermore, there should be no need for charity in developed countries with a social welfare system in place. In most cases, people who need charity in a developed country did not follow the rules of the system, or do not know how to use the system. We do have 100.000 people living in the street in Australia. I don't really know why. But my guess is that those people do not know how to help themselve. There are very little excuse for it. But we have charities supporting those people. Developed countries like Australia already have a scheme in place, since the government supply millions out of its general revenue, both for natural disasters at home and overseas. The thing is, if you are going to ask the worker to feed all the non workers world wide, we will eventually all be poor. And then what? Developed countries are struggling to feed their own people who cannot work. Any idea of helping poor countries is simply an unrealistic dream. The reality is simple. If you cannot afford to feed your children. Don't have any children. People need to stop believing that they have the right to live. You only have the right to live if you pull your own weight.

In my country we have kind people but it's a big contrast, on one side we have very rich people and in the other very very poor people ... little is the number of middle class people and those ones along with the poor ones donate when somebody is in the need or it happens a calamity. Few rich ones care about the others...so we can't have a regular charity as some part of our income here..

I think anyone who can, should, even if it is very small amounts, because even if we are fortunate enough not to need charity, it is all a matter of luck, we might as well have been the needy ones, and we all need to keep that in mind.

When i do charity it is the influence of the man who "needed". Nowadays there are a lot of people who use this method to "get rich", and you have to be craefull that the person who will benefit from it realy needs it. If i think he would do something with it i give him, even if i will have troubles later
