On the website Shape.com, there is this program called virtual trainer. Once you log on and set up an account, you give the virtual trainer your measurements (stomach, legs, chest, etc.) and weight. You tell it your goals. Then everyday you type in what you've eaten and your exercise routine. It gives you an outline of how many calories you've eaten and burned. It also gives you some exercise tips and healthy recipes. It's kind of a good program to keep track of what you're doing. My doctor told me one of the best ways to monitor your weight is to keep track of everything. I guess by writing down what you eat is like a reminder of how much calories and fat you're intaking. lol. This is my second day using it and I'm still figuring it out. Has anyone else used this program? Did it work for you?

Just joined this site and I hope to start using it as soon as I get out of my surgery and recover. I have to do surgery on my jaw and put bone back in it as most of it was eaten away by an infection so after that heals I am on my way to loosing weight and hopefully this site will help. Thanks so much for posting about it I look forward to trying it and I will let you know how it goes.

I'm so glad that I posted this out there. I was hoping it could help someone else too and it seems like it might. I hope you feel better after your surgery and infection. That must have been an interesting situation. Well I hope the site works for you and I look forward to hear about your results.

this is interesting. it does help if you keep track of what you're eating or how much you're exercising, and i think this virtual trainer you are suggesting would be a great help.. i haven't tried any virtual trainer though, but i might use one someday (probably if i gain a lot of pregnancy weight in the future). i have tried online fitness calculators and they really help with weight loss. thanks for the tip.. and don't forget to update us with your experience with this virtual aid :)
