What is the best thing/ most memorable thing you ever got for free?

My hubby is very good at this free stuffs and taught me much on how to go about it. Although, we already have time-share in Mexico, he likes attending this stuffs because they give pretty good freebies. I've done it twice with him. The first time was when we went to Whistler with the kids. Somebody approach us to attend a time-share meeting for 30 to 45 minutes and we got 2 free dinner vouchers and 2 tickets to zip-line worth $150(which we gave to our kids).
The second time was 2 free tickets to Canucks finals, 2 dinner tickets, trip & accommodation to Las Vegas & a cruise to Alaska. Isn't that wonderful! Mind you, these agents are really trained to convince you to buy time-share, if I wasn't with my hubby, they would probably talked me into buying.

Wow canaussie! That's a lot! Imagine a free cruise to Alaska and a trip and accommodation to Las Vegas! I hope I get that too in the future.
My wife and I has been receiving freebies too but not that much. We get free massage treatments, freebies when you buy something in the supermarket and department stores, free additional books etc.. We got all of these because of the purchases we made.
We have that too here in our country, when you attend time-share meetings, you will also get complimentary free accommodations and dinner vouchers. Its just that these sales people will really persuade you to buy time-shares. Besides,we never find time to go there because of our busy schedules.
You just gave me an idea. Next time they call us again, I will find time to attend those meetings so we get their freebies in return. Haha!;)

@cannaussie-Lucky me! I just responded to your post yesterday and guess what? Somebody from Club Ultima just gave me a ring this morning telling me that I qualify for free family vacations locally and in Asian countries like Indonesia and Thailand!
This time, I will find time to attend their presentation to get my complimentary gift.:)

Absolutely agree with u john, the best things in life are free. But at the same time, we need to pay for a lot of things that may not be the best but cost a great lot, right? U see, we need to pay for foods, clothes, tickets, house, various bills...
hmm, anyhow, I'd like to tell u that the most memorable things I've ever got for free are my own belief and self-esteem, which is not bought or got from someone else, but comes from within, that I get from my inner heart for free.
Confidence, perseverance, positive attitude, cheerful personality, all of these are cultivated through my life experience and the knowlege I intake. They are valuable treasures for me that accompany my whole life. I'll cherish them, develop them and make full use of them.

being graced and gifted with God's salvation, spending time with family and loved ones, making new friends, learning new ideas, and just by looking and staring at the wonderful creations of God are the best things in my life, FOR FREE, yet truly enjoyable.
