Go to this site:
http://www.whatsmyip.org/
write the details. disconnect your internet and reconnect. go to the website again and see if you still have the same IP. If not, then you have a shared IP.

you dont have to change your password, it happen when your ip is shared by someone. if you are using dynamic ip then this happens.
some sites may delete both account for sharing same ip.
