Falling Asleep at the Wheel

I have often scoffed at the news when I see a driver being interviewed because of an accident.
THe reason? Fell asleep while driving.
Hah! "How could you fall asleep while driving?" I asked myself.
Until I too fell asleep while driving
My car is not the easiest to drive and yet I experienced 2 blackouts and was not able to stop. Good thing my sped was constant and there were few people and cars on the road.
After the second blackout I pulled over and slept it out for 15 minutes.
My house was just 8 blocks away but i could not and would not risk life and limb just to be able to crawl into my bed to sleep.

Are you OK? your car is OK? I think when you slowly fell in a sleep and the car keep going that kind of feeling must be wonderful till you get an accident, the dream is over. But that is not your problem i think. because I believe the car could Autopilot, drive by car self is possible, so people in the car can have a nice dream then back home continue the dream. this scenes we often watched by TV, how great and easily advanced product, every body have one may be cometrue in the not so long future. ^:^

My mother and I both did this before. My mother got into a car accident from falling asleep behind the wheel and I didn't. I pulled over to the side of the road before it got too bad.

hi chipesterkhan you were very wise as it is best not to take'any chances when you feel so sleepy.I hope you were not hurt when you
had the blackouts? I hope you did check with your doctor about the
blackouts too. Listen to me, I am coming all over mother hen,sorry
but sometimes there are physical conditions that cause black outs.Yes
falling asleep at the wheel can be dangerous and hazardous to your
