Do you ever join with online dating??

I have joined several such sites with fake profiles, just to see what is happening inside. I am happily married with kids and don't need any this kind of stuff. But just to see how far Internet can go, I keep surfing here and there to remain updated .I have read many articles where people have written about their negative experiences with online dating and personally I will never suggest anyone to fall into this mess. What is facebook now? Its an online dating and hooking up site, So if that counts i d say yes because i am on facebook.

hai devilova...you are right that internet offer many things to us...ya, some of us maybe is helped by online dating.. but even iam addicted for internet, i never think to get my husband from internet..it`s weird i think

I joined dating site years ago just out of curiosity. Was able to correspond to a couple of guys who seemed truthful and decent and one that has verbosity, quite intelligent but appeared to be arrogant and eventually annoying. No, I didn't get to see them in person and never plan to, too wary to do that. I know a couple of friends of mine who did went all the way, I meant meeting their online friends but ended up quite a disaster after many attempts. Now they stopped joining these sites for good. I know a much matured woman though who specified what she was really looking for and after dating few of them end up marrying the right guy, they've been together for more than 10 years now and seem happy. So there are misses and mistakes on this online dating but there are few successful ones too.

No, I have not joined a dating site. I don't really have that much trouble finding dates and I prefer to date people I already know not complete strangers. I'm still young and attending college which is a great place to meet potential boyfriends so maybe my attitude will change when I become older and the pool of eligible males becomes smaller and smaller.

I don't really go on those sites. . .I did find one specifically for dating OR making friends with anime fans online, so I couldn't help but join, I was only interested in friendship though, not really dating, it provided both. :)

yup, you are right .. Internet can do anything and fulfill all your desires. But to dating, should don't do it with the help of Internet because in dating online in dating sites, many of its members are displaying a fake profile and her photo, may be fake too.

I can hear only one word when you say online dating and that's FAKE! I have been fooled and i have personally fooled many people in such sites. I would submit my resume as a woman and i would chat with some random guy and have some fun with them. However there have also been times when i have also been fooled. Cheers!

I haven't join any dating site and I dont want too. I'm just wasting my time on it, I rather go out and find someone atleast I got to know him and eventually if time comes that we like each other then will move into the next step called DATING.

indeed on the internet many benefits of what we want there must be the answer from the internet,I do not want to join the same dating site most of them are not honest,so many are fooled
