In the home defeat against WBA, Almunia had a howler which resulted in the second goal. In my opinion, he is also at fault for the third goal. He came out, hesitated and retreat which put him in an off position when the ball is crossed to Jerome.
The keeper is prone to such error and he has been costing Arsenal's points. He is definitely the weakest link in the team and it is a surprise that Wenger has refused to replace him.

The defeat is not just Almunia fault. And if it was not for Almunia, Arsenal should have been 2-0 down. The defeat are due to the lack of effort from some players and Clinchy just getting slaughter at the left back position indicates what it means. The third goal, Almunia hesitate because he knows he was yellow carded and he cannot effort to have another card and concede another penalty.
for me the team of the day was poor. It not that Wenger select the wrong person. That was the team that win against the likes of Bolton if I'm not mistaken only without Vermaelen.
And against Partizan tonight, Fabianski will play.
